2005-2009 Mitsubishi Raider: In The Shadow of Dakota


This was still a time when the core American truck market regarded Japanese trucks as light duty toys. Toyota was first to launch a larger truck with the T100 in the ’90s. Although many of the larger Japanese trucks that followed were marketed as large, in America they tended to be closer to mid-sized. The Dakota was early to the mid-sized truck race, giving it considerable time in the market to overshadow the Raider.
